           American soprano Emma Ozman is a New York based performer and private voice teacher. Emma has been a young artist with the International Summer Opera Festival of Morelia, featuring performances with the Orquesta Sinfónica Michoacán. Emma was a Finalist in the MIOpera Vocal Competition, Emerging Professional Division, a New York Regional Finalist in the Talents of the World Second Annual International Voice Competition and a Semi-Finalist in the Classical Singer Competition, Emerging Professional Division. Her past engagements featured performances in the role of Vitellia in Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito with the New York Opera Forum, Vivaldi’s Magnificat, Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, and Rutter’s Gloria with the Huntington Choral Society, and Vivaldi’s Gloria with the East End Women’s Choir.

 

Her past operatic roles include: Vitellia and Servilia in La Clemenza di Tito, Une Femme Grecque in Iphigénie en Tauride, Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte, and Second Woman in Dido and Aeneas. Notably, Emma was a young artist with the International Summer Opera Festival of Morelia in Morelia, Mexico, the CoOPERAtive Program: of Westminster Choir College in Princeton NJ, Taos Opera Institute in Taos, NM, the Astoria Music Festival in Astoria, OR and, the Florence Voice Seminar in Florence, Italy.

 

Emma Ozman received a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance, summa cum laude from Westminster Choir College and a Master of Music in Vocal Arts from the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music.
